Nathan Bascom, DO
Originally from Ohio, Dr. Bascom joined Orthopedic Centers of Colorado in 2024 after completing advanced training in Total Hip and Total Knee Replacements. He specializes in Total Hip and Total Knee Replacements, Revision Total Hip and Total Knee surgery, and the management of infected Hip and Knee Replacements. He has a special interest in Direct Anterior Total Hip Arthroplasty as well as Robotic-Assisted Total Knee Arthroplasty.
Prior to working at Orthopedic Centers of Colorado, Dr. Bascom graduated Magna Cum Laude from Ohio Northern University, where he was an All-American soccer player. He then attended medical school at Ohio University, followed by an orthopedic surgery residency in Ventura, California. Following residency, Dr. Bascom spent an additional year of training in Total Joint Replacement at the Scripps Clinic in San Diego, California. His fellowship training included specialization in Total Knee Replacement, Anterior and Posterior Total Hip Replacement, as well as revision surgery and robotic knee surgery. Dr. Bascom is a candidate member of the American Association of Hip & Knee Surgeons, as well as the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons.
In his free time, Dr. Bascom enjoys exploring Colorado with his wife, snowboarding, visiting new restaurants, and playing and watching sports.
