He was respectful and informative about the diagnosis and treatment. He never talked down to me - just authentically communicated in a professional but informal manner. He gave several treatment options, and what the expected outcomes of each might be. I would definitely consider Dr Leland for surgery.

Dr. Leland was a life saver. He completed an Open reduction and internal fixation (ORIF) a week after my BJJ ankle fracture. The team was able to get me in for a pre-op within a few days after the injury, Dr. Leland explained the surgery process and went over the game plan. Surgery was successful followed by a series of post-op visits along x-rays until I was finally completely cleared. Highly recommend Dr. Leland as a seasoned ankle surgery specialist.

I am so happy with the care I have been receiving here. Dr Leland has made this process much less scary by constantly educating me about what to expect now and in the near future. His team is also fantastic! Quick to respond and very helpful. I could not be more happy with my choice to use this team as my care team. I would recommend them to anyone looking for an orthopedic specialist.

Robert Leland was direct, provided substantive responses, pressured and no one direction. He is the type of MD that you must come prepared with a full list of questions, he's not going to pull them out of you, or tell you what you want to hear. You can tell he is a seasoned pro at his craft with short patience for bedside mannerisms. My new ankle doc to support me on the trails.
