Dr. Hsin and his team are wonderful. He spotted a meniscus tear in my knee that the radiologist missed in my MRI. I was able to get an appointment for surgery scheduled quickly after that consultation. After my insurance tried to deny the procedure (because the initial MRI report showed nothing wrong), Dr. Hsin and his team fought on my behalf to get the operation approved and were able to convince my insurance I did, in fact, need surgery.
Dr. Hsin made me feel heard and his expertise is evident. After the radiologist missed the meniscus tear and then a PT gaslit me by telling me my knee is "perfectly fine," that "MRIs don't lie" and that the pain is "in my head," I am so glad I got a second opinion from Dr. Hsin. It was like a weight off my shoulders to be listened to by someone who is clearly an expert in their field. Dr. Hsin even validated my concerns saying that, if they do the surgery and don't find anything (which was unlikely), that the pain is not just in my head and something is obviously inflamed. It was very easy to get an appointment with Dr. Hsin by scheduling online and the office was even able to pull my MRI results directly from the imaging center where I got it done. OCC also sent me cost estimates for the procedure so there were no surprises.
