Dr. Larsen served in the U.S. Air Force and Air Force Reserve from 1989 to 2015, retiring at the rank of Colonel. He provided orthopedic care at the U.S. Air Force Academy and held several key leadership roles, including Chief of Orthopedic Surgery and Deputy Chief of Medical Staff. His distinguished military service includes deployments, humanitarian missions, and recognition such as the Defense Meritorious Service Medal and the NATO Medal.

You can't ask for a better ortho Dr. and all around group. We had a terrible experience with children's hospital for our 15yr old son and to make a long story short; Dr Larson got him in and his surgery is scheduled for the same day as the initial visit children's was giving us and the cost is comparable to what they wanted just to see him and put a cast on without even having a consultation. Dr. Larson and the rest of the people at the Colorado center of orthopedic excellence care about the patients and is the only place I will go to or recommend after this experience. You're in good hands here!

Dr Larson and his team are absolutely amazing! They have their stuff together from beginning to end and communicated with me very well. He had my occupational therapy set up quick that way when it was time to do my occupational therapy they were ready for me. No waiting gaps. Dr Larson is a great surgeon and has a great team! I recommend him to anybody with hand or wrist issues

I saw Doctor Larsen for the first time regarding arthritis in my wrist, and I was very pleased with my experience. Dealing with chronic joint pain is stressful and makes me cranky, but he made me feel at ease. He was thorough during the physical exam and took the time to clearly explain my X-rays. I really appreciated that he laid out a comprehensive care plan—discussing both non-surgical options like cortisone shots and wrist braces, as well as what surgery would look like down the road.
