Dr. Larsen served in the U.S. Air Force and Air Force Reserve from 1989 to 2015, retiring at the rank of Colonel. He provided orthopedic care at the U.S. Air Force Academy and held several key leadership roles, including Chief of Orthopedic Surgery and Deputy Chief of Medical Staff. His distinguished military service includes deployments, humanitarian missions, and recognition such as the Defense Meritorious Service Medal and the NATO Medal.
