Dr. Harold Hunt was born and raised in northeast Texas. He attended Baylor University, where he graduated cum laude, earning a Bachelor of Arts in telecommunications with a minor in chemistry. Dr Hunt subsequently attended the University of Texas Medical School in Houston, where he was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha honor society, graduating in the top 5% of his class. He then headed to the northwest, where he completed his orthopedic surgery training at Madigan Army Medical Center in Tacoma, Washington, graduating in 2003.

As part of Dr. Hunt’s 11 years of military service, he served honorably as an orthopedic surgeon at Fort Lewis, Washington, and in both Würzburg and Landstuhl, Germany. During his overseas tour, he was deployed to Kosovo and Mosul, Iraq, in support of combat troops, where he treated hundreds of wounded American soldiers, as well as Iraqi soldiers and civilians.

Dr. Hunt is also an active member with the Utah and Idaho Chapters of Operation Walk performing vital hip and knee replacements in the impoverished regions of El Salvador.

Dr. Hunt has always been attentive to my questions and concerns. He listens, answers any questions you may have. He explains exactly what's going on and what needs to be done to correct whatever medical issue you're facing. He's very pleasant, easy to speak with, and courteous. I highly recommend Dr. Hunt for any orthopedic problems you may have. Best surgeon....my surgery went perfectly. I was walking within hours of my procedure.

Dr. Hunt is the type of person that is so good at what he does that it's hard to put into words the way you feel after your first visit with him. I am 68 yrs old and have never had to have a major surgery like I'm about to have and before my meeting with Dr. Hunt I was so scared to even think about going under the knife that I'd say I'd rather die then go through anything like that but after my visit he took all of my fears away and made me look forward to the procedure and just really changed how negatively I had felt. It's a good feeling to have a doctor that really cares about how you feel and about your future. Thank you Dr. Hunt..
