Dr. Myers moved to Colorado after finishing his foot and ankle subspecialty fellowship. He is an East Coast transplant, having attended Princeton for College, U. Penn for medical school, and Johns Hopkins for his residency. He is a foot and ankle specialist for Orthopedic Centers of Colorado and his training gives him expertise in all disorders of the foot and ankle.

Dr. Myers has two patient care objectives: restore function and alleviate pain. He derives immense satisfaction from achieving these with his patients. Dr. Myers specializes in foot surgery, ankle procedures, sports medicine, trauma care, minimally invasive and microscope assisted techniques and general orthopedic procedures.

For Dr. Myers, orthopedic surgery is more than a job; it is a life’s pursuit. Outside of the office and the operating room, Dr. Myers enjoys downhill skiing and general aviation.

Dr. Myers answered any questions I had. Made a good suggestion regarding a nerve block (Didn't do one). Follow-up was great, quick and factual, but remained for any questions I had and never seemed rushed. Direct directions for recovery. Highly recommended.

Dr. Myers is efficient with his time and seems very knowledgable about what my options are for a fractured fibula. They did a very quick stress x-ray, and the good doc was able to use that to determine the stability of my ankle and predictions for healing. He explained that I could either go the surgery route or a cast + time. He did not pressure me one way or the other. I chose the cast. This was yesterday, so I guess we'll know in a few weeks whether I made a good choice.

Two wk update: X-rays through cast, not much obvious change. I was a little concerned about getting a “tighter” cast, and the good doc fabricated the euphemism “snugger”. Not sure how to feel about this made up vocabulary, but I guess his heart is in the right place. In other news, the nice cast woman listened patiently as I waxed on about my wonderful peg leg (iwalk 3.0) and she did an excellent job tailoring my snugger cast to be as thin as possible on the front for greater comfort on the peg leg. Very appreciated!

Five wk update: cast off today! I am still wondering if Dr. Myers was looking at the same CT as I was, since the bone is still obviously bro. ken. Big gap. But I will not complain. Baby steps for a couple weeks. Glorious outcomes from today: 1) exfoliating like a reptile, and 2) sleeping with no cast, yippee!

Dr. Myers is the very best. A talented surgeon, he performed ankle reconstruction and ankle replacement for me. Following up with some hip flexor weakness, Dr. Myers immediately took action to get me to see another specialist. He is professional and empathetic and has given me the best care possible. Dr. Myers was very kind and patient in my initial meeting. I was nervous about my ankle fracture as I have never broken a bone before. He carefully examined me and even redressed my temporary cast that was initially dressed by ER. He immediately had me scheduled for surgery and had his staff assist with pre-authorizations. His staff has also been prompt when replying to questions or requests. Which was important due to my surgery having to be done in less than a week. I was even able to get my work paperwork completed in a timely fashion. I would definitely recommend his services.

Dr Myers was the 3rd doctor I saw. He is a caring doctor. He asked several times during my procedure if I had any pain.
He was conscientious of cost. Doing the procedure in office as my insurance wouldn’t cover a surgery center. When he was sending the sample to pathology, he mentioned he didn’t know about my insurance.
WHAT? A doctor who cares enough to work with (around) insurance?!!!!

Doctor Myers staff checked me in and I was in an exam room within 5 minutes of my appointment time, and then he walked in just a couple minutes later- very timely for a late afternoon appointment.
He listened thoughtfully to what I had to say, carefully examined my injury while referencing the x-rays, and proposed a methodical, phased approach to resolve the problem. I appreciated that at the end of the appointment he asked if I had any additional questions. Doctor Myers has given me both hope and optimism regarding my recovery.

Dr. Myers was Very professional. I broke my Fibula. It was originally diagnosed by a PA as only a fibula fracture Dr. Myers Found that my deltoid ligament had a rupture while in surgery. Fixed it and moved on.

I also had a follow up appointment two months after the surgery. He assessed the injury and gave me a real world healing timeline instead Of the standard procedure. I was able to fast track my healing.

I would highly recommend him as a surgeon.

I went through a series of events that really made my right foot so bad I was afraid their might not be any hope of fixing it. I went to Dr.Myers and miraculously he was able to fix it. I can't believe how skilled Dr.Myers is and I am so grateful to him. I can't express enough how amazing Dr. Myers is he is the best surgeon out there. His whole staff is exceptional as well.
