Cary R. Motz, MD

Cary R. Motz, MD, is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon through the American Board of Orthopedic Surgeons. Dr. Motz specializes in knee and shoulder arthroscopy and reconstruction along with sports medicine at Advanced Orthopedic & Sports Medicine Specialists in Denver and Parker, Colorado.

Dr. Motz received his undergraduate degree and completed his orthopedic residency at the University of Oklahoma. He received his medical degree from St. Louis University School of Medicine. Dr. Motz completed the San Diego Sports Medicine Arthroscopy Fellowship, focusing on advanced techniques in knee and shoulder arthroscopy. In addition, he is board-certified in Sports Medicine.

Dr. Motz believes that good communication with his patients is the key to a successful treatment outcome. He is currently the team physician for Rock Canyon High School and previously served as the Medical Director for the Colorado Storm Soccer Club. His hobbies include playing golf and skiing.

My experience to this point has been exceptionally outstanding.Dr. Motz in my opinion is exceptionally qualified and capable surgeon in his field. I have received outstanding care from those individuals that make up his team. They have seen to it that I receive the best of care threw out the whole process from start to finish. Above all I trust him not withstanding that everything I've heard about him has been of good report.I would recommend him to anyone considering sport related types of injuries.

I recently saw Dr. Motz for shoulder pain. He was great, right to the plan of action. I appreciate not hanging around waiting to “see if it gets better” for months, he ordered an MRI, let’s make sure what is going on and go from there. I work with my hands for a living, I appreciate getting to the bottom of my pain right away. Great care!!

The Dr evaluation and treatment was great but the wait after being lead back to the examination room seemed excessive. I would of rather continued waiting in the waiting area if they were running behind schedule

Beginning with my first exam all the way through surgery Dr. Motz and Staff we're very attentive to my needs, everything was explained thoroughly. There were quite a few people involved at the surgery center and every single one of them were very caring and constantly made sure I was okay and ready to provide anything that I needed. I was very relaxed and felt like I was in very good hands through the whole experience. I have a work associate who actually had an experience with Dr. Motz many years before and gave him great praise. I give Dr. Motz and his crew a big thumbs up and grateful thank you.
