A Denver native, Dr. Alan Ng went to Chicago and Texas for his medical training and surgical fellowship, as well as a short stint in practicing podiatric surgery, before eventually moving back to his hometown to join Advanced Orthopedics. Dr. Ng specializes primarily in Foot and Ankle Reconstructive Surgery and Trauma. Outside of his own practice, he is heavily involved in the world of podiatric medicine, serving as a past President of the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery, and is currently president elect American College of Foot and ankle Surgeons.
Dr. Alan Ng is also heavily involved in designing surgical equipment and consulting for multiple surgical companies to enhance patient outcomes and to use new technology to improve surgical techniques. He currently consults and designs surgical devices for Stryker Foot and Ankle/Sports Medicine, Restore 3D, Orthosolutions, Medline Unite, Organogensis, Anika Orthopedics, Lifenet, Sinaptic, and Paragon 28/Additive Orthopedics.

Dr Alan Ng was great. We discussed the procedure and he was very empathetic to my needs. His practice got me scheduled the next day for surgery within 2 weeks.
Dr. Ng takes the time to explain what will happen before the surgery, as well as the progress after the surgery. I have had other ortho surgeons that met with me once, usually on the day of surgery, and never I saw them again; that was not the case with Dr. Ng. Granted I also had appointments with his P.A. and medical assistants who were also helpful in addressing any questions or concerns.
Dr. Ng is amazing. As well as all of his staff! I detached my Achilles and he had to do some pretty extensive surgery. He did an amazing job. It feels great and works great, now it’s up to me to build muscle up again! He has a great bedside manner and listens and addresses any issues you have! Totally recommend him and OCC for any orthopedic needs!

We had the most EXTRAORDINARY experience with Dr Ng. He corrected a severe birth defect on my child’s foot. His entire team is outstanding. I would not trust anyone else with this type of procedure.

I found Dr. Ng and the OCC staff to be extremely professional and efficient. I have been to another Orthopedic facility as well as a podiatrist and neither were able to determine what was causing my pain. Dr. Ng pretty much explained what the problem was and gave specific instructions on how I should proceed. While I know the proof is in the results moving forward I am hoping his diagnosis is correct,
OCC has always been my favorite group for knee, neck and foot issues. I trust the doctors there and have had excellent results.
Dr. Ng is an excellent surgeon. He has performed at least 10 surgeries on my feet & after each one I was back to hiking, regular physical activities & workouts. I was given an appointment two weeks out. Once in the office we didn’t wait more than 5 minutes before being called. X-rays were taken and the tech was very considerate. Dr. Ng was well inform about my case and informed me on what he wants to accomplish and how. I felt comfortable with Dr. Ng and his assistant Katie. I would give Dr. Ng and his office a 10 out of 10!
