Dr. Choudhry provides a full complement of upper extremity/hand care from the shoulder to fingertips. A Colorado native, he graduated from Overland High School in Aurora where he was awarded the Bausch & Lomb Science Award for his “Excellent Promise in the Field of Science.” He went on to pursue a Bachelor of Science degree in molecular biology from the University of Denver and graduated Cum Laude. He then attended the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical School where he received the William Winter MD Award for his “Outstanding Performance in Orthopedic Surgery” as a senior medical student.

He continued his passion for orthopedics by completing his residency at the University of Cincinnati and affiliated hospitals. As a graduating chief resident he was selected as the recipient of the Peter J. Stern MD award “in recognition for outstanding qualities in professionalism, patient care, and teaching.” He then decided to pursue subspecialty training and completed an Upper extremity/Hand fellowship at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in North Carolina. During fellowship he received the Fellow’s Clinical Science Silver Award by the Wake Forest Division of Surgical Sciences for his research on nerve injuries.

Dr. Choudhry has several research endeavors that have been presented at national meetings and published in prestigious scientific journals. He has been fortunate to train with some of the best leaders and pioneers in his field of practice and strives to provide the best possible care for his patients. Dr. Choudhry enjoys spending time with his wife and family and exploring all the outdoor adventures that Colorado has to offer.

Spending time with his family, traveling, skiing, cricket, mountain biking, and soccer.
Dr. Choudhry took up tennis during the pandemic and has become a die hard enthusiast continually pushing himself to get better. You can find him playing around town at Gates or at the Wash Park tennis courts.

Scheduling an appointment was easy and I got in fast. The office was easy to find and there was plenty of parking with the option of valet, if needed. All the staff were professional and friendly. No wait time to be taken back to my room after arriving. No wait time to see Dr. Choudhry. Dr. Choudhry was professional, friendly, and very knowledgeable. He helped my hand problem and scheduled surgery for the following week. Very pleased and highly recommend.

I would highly recommend Dr. Choudhry, because he listened when I took my daughter in for a second opinion with Dr. Choudhry. He and his wonderful Staff are very knowledgeable, compassionate and supportive. After my daughter had suffered with hand, wrist and arm pain for 4 weeks, Dr. Choudhry knew what to do and helped my daughter. He diagnosed her correctly. Previously I scheduled an office visit for my daughter with another so called Orthopedic Surgeon 2 weeks ago. That quack took an x-ray then told me and my daughter to put a heating pad on the affected areas. He did nothing to eliminate the pain or discomfort. My daughter continued with pain and was unable to sleep or use her hand or arm because of the pain. Fortunately, I was able to find Dr. Choudhry to save the day. Both my daughter and I think that Dr. Choudhry is THE BEST Orthopedic Surgeon in the business. If I had to have surgery, I believe that I could trust him. It’s the small things that are done for the patient that illustrate INTEGRITY and VALUE. Dr. Choudhry and his team demonstrated this. This is rare in the world today, but highly appreciated. Thank you Dr. Choudhry. 7/2/2026 Thank you Dr. Choudhry for making Qiana's surgery go smoothly. Dr. David Lee and the other surgery staff were wonderful as well. Yesterday, Qiana had her follow up after surgery visit with Dr. Choudhry and Medical Staff. As always, from the front desk Staff, to Dr. Choudhry and Medical, everyone is professional and makes you feel valued as a patient. Dr. Choudhry and his Staff are very compassionate, kind and good listeners. I would highly recommend Dr. Imran Choudhry if you have any hand, wrist or arm pain. He did a FANTASTIC job with my daughter's hand wrist and arm pain. She is very happy and so am I.
