Micah Adamson, MD
Dr. Adamson is a fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon specializing in hip and knee total joint replacement, revision surgery and the management of infected hip and knee replacements. Dr. Adamson has a special interest in minimally invasive direct anterior total hip replacement and robotic assisted knee replacement. He is a candidate member of the American Association of Hip & Knee Surgeons, as well as the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons.
Dr. Adamson grew up in Central Nebraska. Prior to working at Cornerstone, Dr. Adamson graduated cum laude from Creighton University in Omaha, NE with a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science. He attended medical school at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. Following medical school, he pursued an orthopedic surgery residency at the University of Texas Medical Branch. He was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society and was awarded orthopedic intern of the year and the Golden Bone Excellence in Teaching Award. Following residency, Dr. Adamson had the opportunity to pursue advanced training in adult joint reconstruction at the University of California at Los Angeles Orthopedic Hospital in Santa Monica. His fellowship training included advanced techniques in reconstruction of the hip & knee. Dr. Adamson has been a reviewer for the Journal of Knee Surgery. Additionally, he conducted research on robotic assisted knee surgery.
Dr. Adamson has been on medical mission trips to Mexico and Ecuador. In his free time, he enjoys playing hockey and golf, weightlifting, and exploring Colorado.
