Did I want to have a lumbar spine fusion? No. Did I want my legs to stop going numb and weak? Yes. Enter Dr. Mohile. Great surgeon. Great Assistant, Tony. Dr. Mobile is incredibly kind and patient. My surgery went smoothly and we’re conquering my sassy cervical spine next. And my legs work like they’re supposed to! Yay!

I have been shopping for an orthopedic surgeon for treating my back. I had been disappointed so far, until I met dr mohile. Wow, he is really great. He has not yet performed any work on me, but he did an excellent job of reviewing my imaging and symptoms, and drew compelling, well-justified conclusions. Top-notch physician.

It's been six months since my surgery and I can say without a doubt that I'm extremely grateful that I got the surgery and to Dr. Mohile for it. Prior to consulting Dr. Mohile, I had three sciatic nerve flare ups within two months that were so bad I ended up in urgent care twice, and the ER once. After the surgery, however, I haven't had any flare ups, and have been in physical therapy to work on learning how to bend without straining my spine so much. Dr. Mohile did an excellent job all around. From the consult to the surgery and after. During the consult he showed me images of my spine and was able to pinpoint exactly what was causing my pain. He also provided me easy education about how the spine works, and exactly what a Micro Lumbar Discectomy would do for me. This made the whole process way less scary. I appreciated his professionalism, education, and confidence. I could tell he was truly interested in helping me, and I believed him when he said he could do it and that he'd done it successfully before for others. I was right to trust him. The surgery went perfectly, and I was out in a few hours. I also had more strength back in my foot that I hadn't before. So if anyone is looking for a confident, and highly skilled spinal surgeon, who really cares about helping you, then please give Dr. Mohile a chance.

First, I have found OCC has always been efficient in keeping scheduled appointments pretty much close to the time that is scheduled. At this appointment, it was the first time I met Dr MOHILE, and found him to be very considerate and informative as he went over my x-rays. He provided me with suggestions and the reality of the results.

Dr Mohile gave me my life back! Successfull fusion surgery on C4-C6. So thankful for his expertise. Also his warm and compassionate bedside manner made everything that much better.

I had an L4-L5 laminectomy performed by Dr. Neil Mohile, and I have been extremely pleased with both the care I received and the results of my surgery. Before seeing Dr. Mohile, I saw another orthopedic surgeon who believed arthritis was the primary source of my back pain and recommended another injection. By that point, I had already been dealing with significant limitations. Standing or walking for about 10–15 minutes would cause my lower-back pain to progressively increase until it became debilitating. When I met with Dr. Mohile, he carefully reviewed my MRI and X-rays and listened to the pattern of my symptoms. He considered the arthritis, but he did not believe it adequately explained what I was experiencing. Instead, he believed the spinal stenosis was the primary problem and recommended an L4-L5 laminectomy rather than continuing with injections. I appreciated his willingness to look at the whole picture and reach his own conclusion. He was straightforward about what he thought was causing my pain, what the surgery could accomplish, and what I should expect afterward. I went into surgery feeling that I understood both the problem and the plan. What impressed me just as much as Dr. Mohile's surgical skill was the way he treated me as a patient. He has consistently been kind, caring and reassuring. He checked on me early the morning after surgery, and during my postoperative visits he took the time to examine me, answer my questions and make sure my recovery was progressing appropriately. The difference since surgery has been significant. Before the operation, walking and standing were the activities that caused my pain to progressively ramp up. During my recovery, I have gradually returned to longer walks and normal daily activities without experiencing that same debilitating pain. I still have some expected soreness and need to rebuild my strength and endurance, but it feels very different from the problem I had before surgery. At my most recent follow-up, Dr. Mohile was pleased with my progress and cleared me to begin physical therapy. I am now looking forward to rebuilding my strength and getting back to the activities that my back problems had taken away from me. I am very grateful to Dr. Mohile for taking the time to determine what he believed was actually causing my symptoms rather than simply continuing the treatment I had already been receiving. I'm also grateful for the kindness and care he showed me throughout the process. Based on my experience, I would recommend Dr. Mohile to anyone dealing with a similar lumbar spine problem.
