Dr. Michael Huang is a fellowship-trained sports medicine specialist with advanced expertise in hip preservation, as well as shoulder and knee injuries. Originally from Littleton, Colorado, Dr. Huang has lived, worked, and stayed active across the state, including in Vail, Grand Junction, and Colorado Springs, where he has been a part of the community since 2012.
Dr. Huang completed his sports medicine fellowship at The Steadman-Hawkins Clinic in Vail,
Colorado, where he received specialized training in the treatment of complex joint conditions. He
has a particular focus on hip preservation surgery, helping patients maintain joint health and return
to an active lifestyle. In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Huang is actively involved in advancing the field of orthopedic surgery through innovation with industry partners and participation in medical education, where he helps train other surgeons.
Throughout his career, Dr. Huang has contributed to the orthopedic literature with numerous
publications over the past 19 years, reflecting his ongoing commitment to research and improving patient outcomes.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Huang enjoys spending time with his wife and two children. He is passionate about an active Colorado lifestyle and can often be found skiing, mountain biking, golfing, or roasting coffee in his free time.

We will honor existing appointments through 03/01/2026 without authorization. However, any planned or ongoing treatment may be delayed if authorization is not received (IE: MRI, Surgery, PT/OT).
