Dr. Choudhry provides a full complement of upper extremity/hand care from the shoulder to fingertips. A Colorado native, he graduated from Overland High School in Aurora where he was awarded the Bausch & Lomb Science Award for his “Excellent Promise in the Field of Science.” He went on to pursue a Bachelor of Science degree in molecular biology from the University of Denver and graduated Cum Laude. He then attended the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical School where he received the William Winter MD Award for his “Outstanding Performance in Orthopedic Surgery” as a senior medical student.

He continued his passion for orthopedics by completing his residency at the University of Cincinnati and affiliated hospitals. As a graduating chief resident he was selected as the recipient of the Peter J. Stern MD award “in recognition for outstanding qualities in professionalism, patient care, and teaching.” He then decided to pursue subspecialty training and completed an Upper extremity/Hand fellowship at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in North Carolina. During fellowship he received the Fellow’s Clinical Science Silver Award by the Wake Forest Division of Surgical Sciences for his research on nerve injuries.

Dr. Choudhry has several research endeavors that have been presented at national meetings and published in prestigious scientific journals. He has been fortunate to train with some of the best leaders and pioneers in his field of practice and strives to provide the best possible care for his patients. Dr. Choudhry enjoys spending time with his wife and family and exploring all the outdoor adventures that Colorado has to offer.

The service was incredible. I showed up 10 minutes early to my appointment in by time. My actual appointment time came they had already checked me in, got me into the room, taking my x-rays and I was about to sit down and go over the details with the doctor and his PA.

I was truly impressed with how organized it was. All and I would imagine I was there for only maybe 15 minutes and by time I left I had already scheduled my surgery as well as my follow up appointment.

I didn’t know this sort of time service still existed

I was scared; it was the first time I'd broken a bone, and now I've broken my wrist. I'm grateful to Dr. Choudhry for his professionalism, as well as to the entire hospital staff, who are always very kind. I still need therapy, but for now, I'm recovering very well from the surgery.
