Everything about my experience from start to finish was outstanding. Dr. Lindberg and the rest of the clinical team were excellent, and a little over two months after my ankle surgery, my recovery is progressing very well.
The only negative aspect of my experience was one of the women who works in the office. During my care, I found her consistently rude and unprofessional. In fact, I felt uncomfortable enough that I asked Dr. Lindberg’s physician assistant not to have her interact with me anymore.
Unfortunately, at my last appointment, I had another unpleasant interaction with her. The office was clearly running behind, and after waiting in the exam room for more than 30 minutes, I stepped into the hallway to politely ask if anyone knew what the delay was. She happened to be the staff member I encountered. When I asked if Dr. Lindberg would be seeing me soon, she responded, “Yeah, we’re behind. He’ll be right there. You’re next,” in what I felt was a dismissive and unnecessarily rude tone.
I understand that busy clinics can fall behind schedule, and I have no issue waiting when necessary. However, patients deserve to be treated with courtesy and respect, especially when they’re simply asking for an update. I expect a much higher level of professionalism from someone working in a healthcare setting.
