A Denver native, Dr. Alan Ng went to Chicago and Texas for his medical training and surgical fellowship, as well as a short stint in practicing podiatric surgery, before eventually moving back to his hometown to join Advanced Orthopedics. Dr. Ng specializes primarily in Foot and Ankle Reconstructive Surgery and Trauma. Outside of his own practice, he is heavily involved in the world of podiatric medicine, serving as a past President of the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery, and is currently president elect American College of Foot and ankle Surgeons.

Dr. Alan Ng is also heavily involved in designing surgical equipment and consulting for multiple surgical companies to enhance patient outcomes and to use new technology to improve surgical techniques. He currently consults and designs surgical devices for Stryker Foot and Ankle/Sports Medicine, Restore 3D, Orthosolutions, Medline Unite, Organogensis, Anika Orthopedics, Lifenet, Sinaptic, and Paragon 28/Additive Orthopedics.

Had ankle surgery a while ago with Dr. Alan Ng to fix bone spurs and a paraneal tear. He diagnosed and treated the problem when other doctors couldn't. The surgery was a good 10-15 years ago and I have full range of motion and was able to get back to playing soccer without pain. He and everyone associated with his practice were great! Would highly, highly recommend 👌

Dr Ng is genuinely a nice person and a great doctor. After having a trimalleolar fracture a little Less than 3 months ago and switching from a different physician to him, I feel so much more confident.

Dr. Ng takes the time to explain what will happen before the surgery, as well as the progress after the surgery. I have had other ortho surgeons that met with me once, usually on the day of surgery, and never I saw them again; that was not the case with Dr. Ng. Granted I also had appointments with his P.A. and medical assistants who were also helpful in addressing any questions or concerns.

From there on out, mainly nurses, Dr Ng and his assistant were awesome !
Anithesisoligist was on overload, but made time to introduce and generalize what I was in for.
When I woke up nurses were very accomedating and prepared me to go go home.
A day later the facility called to check on me, which is impressive. Dr Ng's office never called.

I had surgery by a different doctor in September 2023. Three toes on the left foot we’re supposed to be straightened, however I was left disfigured and in severe pain.

I consulted with Dr. Ng for a third opinion regarding correction surgery, and I couldn’t be more impressed with the care and expertise I received.
