Dr. Choudhry provides a full complement of upper extremity/hand care from the shoulder to fingertips. A Colorado native, he graduated from Overland High School in Aurora where he was awarded the Bausch & Lomb Science Award for his “Excellent Promise in the Field of Science.” He went on to pursue a Bachelor of Science degree in molecular biology from the University of Denver and graduated Cum Laude. He then attended the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical School where he received the William Winter MD Award for his “Outstanding Performance in Orthopedic Surgery” as a senior medical student.

He continued his passion for orthopedics by completing his residency at the University of Cincinnati and affiliated hospitals. As a graduating chief resident he was selected as the recipient of the Peter J. Stern MD award “in recognition for outstanding qualities in professionalism, patient care, and teaching.” He then decided to pursue subspecialty training and completed an Upper extremity/Hand fellowship at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in North Carolina. During fellowship he received the Fellow’s Clinical Science Silver Award by the Wake Forest Division of Surgical Sciences for his research on nerve injuries.

Dr. Choudhry has several research endeavors that have been presented at national meetings and published in prestigious scientific journals. He has been fortunate to train with some of the best leaders and pioneers in his field of practice and strives to provide the best possible care for his patients. Dr. Choudhry enjoys spending time with his wife and family and exploring all the outdoor adventures that Colorado has to offer.

Doctor Choudhry is great. He listened to me even though he absolutely knew what was wrong with my wrist. His bedside manner is gentle and reassuring. All of the processes at this clinic link up to provide a smooth efficient visit. No one wants to end up at the orthopedist’s office. I would highly recommend Dr. Choudhry, because he listened when I took my daughter in for a second opinion with Dr. Choudhry. He and his wonderful Staff are very knowledgeable, compassionate and supportive. After my daughter had suffered with hand, wrist and arm pain for 4 weeks, Dr. Choudhry knew what to do and helped my daughter. He diagnosed her correctly.
Previously I scheduled an office visit for my daughter with another so called Orthopedic Surgeon 2 weeks ago. That quack took an x-ray then told me and my daughter to put a heating pad on the affected areas. He did nothing to eliminate the pain or discomfort. My daughter continued with pain and was unable to sleep or use her hand or arm because of the pain.
Fortunately, I was able to find Dr. Choudhry to save the day. Both my daughter and I think that Dr. Choudhry is THE BEST Orthopedic Surgeon in the business. If I had to have surgery, I believe that I could trust him. It’s the small things that are done for the patient that illustrate INTEGRITY and VALUE. Dr. Choudhry and his team demonstrated this. This is rare in the world today, but highly appreciated. Thank you Dr. Choudhry.

The staff is also first rate. I needed some information about the surgery that wasn't in the surgeon's records. Julie called the surgery center to have the documents prepared and personally accompanied me to the center to get them. I have rarely seen a medical office go to such lengths to make sure the patient's needs are met. In this era of corporate medicine, that personal attention is priceless.

Dr Choudhry and his team, are literally the best! He listens to all of your concerns, he looks over your MRI himself, shows you everything that’s wrong with it/or OK with it, and talks about all of the options you have, and what he suggests.
On the day of surgery, I was nervous but his team as well as himself, make you feel comfortable, and him cracking jokes makes you instantly relax.
His team day of surgery all come in and talk to you, answer all your questions, don’t make you feel like you’re wasting anyone’s time or rushing you. They’re very kind and you can tell they want you to feel better. You’re not just a “patient” you’re a person.
After surgery on a Friday night, I had to call in the after hours, their call service is chef’s kiss! They are so kind, they call in afterwards to make sure the doctor called in and made sure all my questions and concerns were answered and addressed.
His PA was so kind to me. He took his time, and even though it was a Friday night, he did not treat you like me like I was bothering him. That’s very rare.
I absolutely love him and his staff, right down to the people that take your appointments and schedule your surgery.
This is my first surgery with them. I’m very thankful I did my homework and found him. I truly cannot thank him and his team enough.
