Dr. Griggs is board-certified in orthopedic surgery and hand surgery. Dr. Griggs completed his medical degree from the University of Louisville in Kentucky. After medical school, he completed his orthopedic residency at Brown University in Rhode Island. Following residency, he completed a hand and micro fellowship at the University of Houston in Texas and an additional shoulder and elbow fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania.

Dr. Griggs specializes in surgical and conservative management of injuries and conditions of the shoulder, elbow and hands. This includes fracture care of the clavicle, shoulder, elbow, forearm, wrist and hand, along with trauma and chronic arthritis conditions. Dr. Griggs specializes in arthroscopic shoulder surgery for rotator cuff tears and shoulder instability. Other common conditions he treats are lateral epicondylitis, elbow arthritis and nerve compressions such as carpal tunnel and cubital tunnel. Dr. Griggs specializes in workers’ compensation patients and completed his level II accreditation with the state of Colorado.

Dr. Griggs enjoys taking his children skiing, biking and wake surfing.

Dr. Griggs and his team are excellent. I was very impressed and pleased with the friendliness and efficiency of all the staff. Each appointment I’ve had was incredibly timely, informative, and comforting.
Dr. Griggs took the time to answer all my questions, explain what to expect, and provided a “Plan B” for if the first option did not solve my problem. (Plan A worked out perfectly.)

Everyone was very pleasant and professional. The experience was not that stuffy medical regiment where you check in and it's so serious. The lady at the front desk was very jovial for an early morning and I appreciated that.
Jayla was also great and so was the lady who took me to the room. Dr Griggs I felt very comfortable talking to him.

Very personal professional facility. Felt like all personal listened to my issues and injury concerns and treated them with the utmost care! Would highly recommend Dr Griggs to anyone in the future who has health issues regarding Orthopedics. Want to thank everyone working with Dr Griggs for such great care! They put me in a much better cast sling and the steroid shots at the present time seem to be taking effect hopefully that will take care of my tendon injury. Once again thank you everyone
