Seeing Patients Starting February 3, 2026
Ralph Bidwell grew up in West Michigan and obtained his Master of Science in Physical Therapy from Grand Valley State University, with honors, in 1993. He came to Colorado to continue his love of rock climbing and cycling, though cervical degeneration eventually put a stop to his climbing. Ralph has lived in Denver, Pueblo, and settled in Colorado Springs in 1999. Ralph has worked in numerous therapy settings, including workers’ comp, home health, acute care, and traveling therapy, though the majority of his experience is in outpatient orthopedics. Additionally, he owned/ran a part-time PT clinic in Castle Rock from 2007 to 2014.
Ralph trained in various manual therapy techniques and is certified in dry needling through Evidence in Motion. Most recently, Ralph became certified in Traumatic Stress Studies through Van Der Kolk’s Trauma Research Foundation. This provides a much deeper understanding of the physical, neurological & emotional issues facing many orthopedic patients.
Being an older therapist, Ralph can ‘relate’ to patients. He enjoys teaching how to avoid injury, manage age related aches/pains, and rationally sort through the volumes of health information the culture bombards us with.
In his free time, he enjoys road and mountain biking, and loves reading on topics of health, communication, healing. Ralph has three cats, a tortie, a wegie, a large Maine coon.
