I was visiting Denver when bursitis in my elbow became infected and my arm swelled from hand to shoulder. OCC got me an appointment within 24 hours which I had not anticipated. When I arrived for my appointment, I was seen almost immediately. The staff were helpful and courteous. At each step along the way, they took the time to explain their role, what their observations were and tentative diagnosis. Dr. Delarosa took the time to describe all his observations, explain his conclusions and recommendations for my treatment, and answer all my questions. I was impressed.

I had a very positive first visit. The staff was very friendly and the atmosphere very comfortable. The wait was short. After 10 years having difficulty/pain with walking, two different sessions of Physical Therapy, and x-rays that showed only a tad of arthritis, Colorado Orthopedic Consultants finally found the problem with their own x-rays which shows bone on bone in my hip joint and another connecting problem. Dr. Arthur was awesome! He put me at ease, was easy to talk to, and he explained my options which I opted for the cortisone injection, for starters, in hopes of stalling, if not avoiding, hip replacement. All went smoothly and Dr. Arthur has earned my confidence, in him, with any future treatment/surgery that may be facing me.
