Dr. Erisha Tashakori is a fellowship-trained orthopedic spine surgeon specializing in the comprehensive care of spinal conditions, from minimally invasive procedures to complex deformity reconstruction.
Born in Ciudad Ojeda, Venezuela, Dr. Tashakori immigrated with her family to Arlington, Texas at a young age. She graduated magna cum laude from the University of Texas at Austin with a degree in International Relations and Global Studies before pursuing her medical degree at McGovern Medical School in Houston. During medical school, she developed a passion for surgery and was inducted into the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society.
She went on to complete her residency in Orthopedic Surgery at the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston. To further refine her expertise, she completed advanced fellowship training at the Cleveland Clinic’s combined orthopedic and neurosurgical Spine Surgery program, where she gained specialized experience in the latest techniques for both minimally invasive and complex spine procedures.
Clinical Interests:
In her free time, Dr. Tashakori enjoys weightlifting, running, hiking Colorado’s trails, and traveling internationally. She is also passionate about tennis, cooking, design, and exploring new restaurants. Excited to call Denver home, she looks forward to experiencing all that Colorado has to offer while helping patients return to the activities they love.
