Dr. Davis completed his undergraduate degree with a major in physics and a minor in Spanish at Middlebury College in Vermont. He completed medical school and orthopedic surgery residency at the University of California, Los Angeles. Dr. Davis’ fellowship experience includes hand surgery at the Philadelphia Hand Center, Jefferson University, and shoulder and elbow surgery at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center and Cornell University Hospital in New York City. Dr. Davis joined Colorado Orthopedics Consultants in 1996.
He is a past president of the Rocky Mountain Hand Surgery Society. He is board certified in orthopedic surgery, with added qualification in surgery of the hand. His current memberships include the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgery, the American Society of Surgery of the Hand, the Colorado Medical Society, and the Aurora-Adams County Medical Society.
“I really enjoy spending time with and listening to my patients. Every patient has a unique background and experience, with something interesting to say. I consider these distinct needs and preferences to formulate an individualized treatment plan for every patient. I offer all the options and encourage my patients to participate in their own care,” said Dr. Davis.
Dr. Davis and his wife Lindsey, enjoy doing many outdoor activities with their kids Jordan, and Taleigh, including biking, hiking, skiing, snowmobiling, and camping every summer. The Davis family is currently training their 5th service dog for the national organization, Canine Companions for Independence.
