As an Interventional Physiatrist, Dr. Christopher D‘Ambrosia treats a wide range of problems, including sore shoulders, spinal cord injuries, arthritis, tendonitis, back pain, as well as work- and sports-related injuries. His focus is on restoring function for his patients. Dr. D’Ambrosia has been in private practice in Colorado since 2005. He has provided his services for the NHL – Colorado Avalanche, NBA – Denver Nuggets, and the Colorado Crush Arena Football Team.

I believe that Dr. D'Ambrosia is competent and knowledgeable, but my issue is that it took over 2 months to get an appointment, then I saw the doctor for maybe 5 minutes or less. He ordered an MRI, so I will reserve judgement until I see how long it takes to get follow-up to that test.

I called blindly with no idea who I would see based on a recommendation from a friend for the practice. I’ve been in such pain for months with no relief from other therapies. Dr. D has given me a diagnoses ( not crazy or being a baby) and some hope that my pain can be relieved without surgery. He very obviously is passionate about what he does, and wants to help find non surgical pain management and treatment. The office has made appointments quickly, obtained imaging quickly and been thorough in following up. I’d prefer not to have the diagnosis or the pain, but I feel like Dr. D was a heaven send.

Dr. D'Ambrosia is the first doctor who finally was able to order MRIs to see the bulging discs in my back, and provide appropriate treatment and care to get me out of the exhausting state of chronic pain.

I've been repeatedly tested for arthritis and just given instruction to go to physical therapy which never made much of a difference.

Dr. D'Ambrosia treated the chronic pain symptoms first helping me get to a place where PT has been more successful now that my body isn't in a constant state of tension.
