I was very pleased with my first appointment with COC - Dr. Zopinsky in the Aurora office was on time, she listened to me, explained the MRI & the X-rays, suggested a reasonable treatment & I will be glad to return after 6 weeks to see the improvement on the tests. I am glad to have met her.

PLUS: My experience with Dr Mitchell was good. He showed me the results of my testing and explained what the outcomes meant and where we would go from there.MINUS: I did have a 30 minute wait in the exam room after my appointment time before I saw Dr Mitchell. I assume he was taking excellent care of the patient before me.

I (85 yr old female) was seeking a second opinion for hip replacement, not happy with the 'first' opinion. Dr. Arthur listened to me, very open to working with me to avoid opioids if at all possible. He is reassuring, gave full explanations of procedures, etc. Can't say I am looking forward to surgery of course, but feel Dr. Arthur promises to be all I could wish for in a surgeon.

I was referred to Dr. Faulkner by my previous doctor, who had treated me for over 10 years, because he was retiring. I was introduced to Dr. Faulkner and his staff, and was immediately put at ease with his background, his staff's backgrounds, and their professionalism. Plus, they quickly learned my particulars, and I have my previous surgeon to thank for all that I have now. I just had a total reverse shoulder replacement on June 11, 2024, and was extremely nervous (actually frightened to death) about the surgery, leaving "rope scars" on my shoulder, and my mobility. I can tell you that one month after my surgery, I was three weeks ahead of schedule in my mobility and had ZERO pain! Praise God! Plus, they actually follow-up to see how things are going with me. I highly recommend Dr. Nathan Faulkner and his staff to anyone who needs upper body orthopedic surgery. His office is GREAT!Since my last post, I fell, injured my left shoulder, and reinjured my right shoulder (the recent surgery) and now I'm back to square 1 on the right, and the verdicts out on the left shoulder. However, Dr. Faulkner and his staff have been most compassionate and understanding of these newest happenings. He, his office, and associates are now my "BFF" Friends and Family!* Cowboy 🐎

Dr. Arthur is great. He was caring and empathetic regarding my pain and quality of life. He completed a TKA on me. He answered all my questions at my first post op visit. Wendy was also very nice and helpful, she did not rush and made sure I was comfortable. Would recommend coming here for orthopedic needs.

Rachel Sauvageau is very knowledgeable with my problem and takes her time to explain any questions I may have. The time it takes to answer ALL THE QUESTIONS before seeing her is a bit much however. She gets 5 stars but the problem answering all the questions gets a 2 star.

I was visiting Denver when bursitis in my elbow became infected and my arm swelled from hand to shoulder. OCC got me an appointment within 24 hours which I had not anticipated. When I arrived for my appointment, I was seen almost immediately. The staff were helpful and courteous. At each step along the way, they took the time to explain their role, what their observations were and tentative diagnosis. Dr. Delarosa took the time to describe all his observations, explain his conclusions and recommendations for my treatment, and answer all my questions. I was impressed.

I had a very positive first visit. The staff was very friendly and the atmosphere very comfortable. The wait was short. After 10 years having difficulty/pain with walking, two different sessions of Physical Therapy, and x-rays that showed only a tad of arthritis, Colorado Orthopedic Consultants finally found the problem with their own x-rays which shows bone on bone in my hip joint and another connecting problem. Dr. Arthur was awesome! He put me at ease, was easy to talk to, and he explained my options which I opted for the cortisone injection, for starters, in hopes of stalling, if not avoiding, hip replacement. All went smoothly and Dr. Arthur has earned my confidence, in him, with any future treatment/surgery that may be facing me.
