Rachel attended the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, where she received her bachelor’s degree in Nutrition, Exercise and Health Science in 2011. She then went on to obtain her Master’s Degree in Physician Assistant Studies at the Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha. She graduated in 2014 and began working as a PA for Nebraska Spine and Pain Center in Omaha, Nebraska. She moved to Colorado in October of 2016 and began working for Colorado Orthopedic Consultants with Dr. Jeffrey Arthur. Rachel works in both the clinic setting diagnosing and treating various orthopedic issues. She also first assists Dr. Arthur in the operating room during total hip and knee arthroplasties, trauma surgeries and sports- related surgical injuries.

Rachel enjoys spending time with friends and family. She loves doing anything active including running, hiking, cycling, yoga and doing anything outdoors. She enjoys returning to Nebraska for Husker football games and visiting friends and family.

Orthopedic Surgeon – Joint Replacement & Reconstruction

Dr. Arthur’s advanced training gives him expertise in total knee and total hip replacement. He performs minimally invasive total hip arthroplasty and complex revision procedures, shoulder procedures, and knee procedures. He is trained in trauma and other general orthopedic procedures and is an active member of the AAOS, AOAO and AOA. He has participated and is currently involved in research projects utilizing the latest advances in total joint replacement technology.
