Tim serves as a physician assistant for Dr. Kobayashi, specializing in upper extremity and sports medicine orthopedic care. His duties include managing patients in the clinic, fracture care, and post-operative follow-up care. He is proficient in acute traumatic injuries of the upper extremity as well as diagnosis and treatment of chronic injuries of the upper extremity.
Prior to joining the upper extremity team, Tim graduated from the Joint Services Interservice Physician Assistant Program at Fort Sam Houston, Texas, under the University of Nebraska Medical Center. Subsequently, Tim completed an 18-month Doctoral fellowship in clinical orthopedics through Baylor University. As a certified physician assistant in the Army since 2011, Tim has served three combat tours and has extensive experience in traumatic injuries as well as treating patients in the primary care setting.

Dr Kobayashi performed a reverse shoulder replacement 3 1/2 months ago. The whole process has been amazing. I can do so much more than I could before the surgery. He is professional, knowledgeable and very skilled. . His team is fantastic, and everyone is helpful.I couldn't be happier wth my progress. He has made a big difference in my life. I highly recommend him for hand and upper extremity surgery.

From my initial visit, it was clear that my care and getting me on the road to healing was the first priority. Office staff are friendly and put patients first.Working with Stephanie and Dr. Martyak made me feel at ease and like my health was important. They presented options, but also provided me with what they would do in my situation.Surgery Center care was amazing, and I know I'm receiving the type of care that is necessary. The whole process has been great, and I've known that I am valued as a person by all of the staff and care-givers.
Dr. Kobayashi is an amazing doctor and a wonderful person. He truly cares about his patients. He went out of his way to work around our scheduled vacation by expediting an MRI on my son’s hand and scheduling an early morning follow up appointment. He has my highest recommendation.
Dr Ky was amazing! I felt very comfortable from the time I walked into the office to the time I left. I need hand surgery and he explained everything that reassured me I was making the right decision and was under the best care possible.

I really shy away from giving a good review because I don't want everybody else to go to see Dr. Kobayashi. He is absolutely incredible and truly has the best bedside manner and is always so very happy and willing to listen and talk to you. He knows his stuff, and he's just a pleasure to be around, you can be in the worst pain in the world and he is just always so kind.
The staff in the office is amazing from the receptionist's to the nurses, and up to Dr. Hubbard and Dr. Kobayashi. They are a great bunch of people who work so well together! The treatment I received was Grade-A and I am not through yet. I have no doubt my future treatment will be anything less than stellar!! Thank you Dr. Kobayashi and staff!!! ❤️
