Philip Heyman, MD
Dr. Heyman has been with Hand Surgery Associates since 1991. He has a number of affiliations with professional organizations, such as the American Society for Surgery of the Hand, American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, The Rocky Mountain Hand Surgery Society, and the Colorado Medical Society.
Dr. Heyman enjoys all aspects of hand and upper extremity surgery, especially treating compressive neuropathies, arthritis, traumatic conditions such as fractures of the hand and wrist, sports and work related injuries, and more. He has given numerous presentations on various topics locally and at national meetings. In addition, he is the co-director of the hand and upper extremity service at Craig Rehab Hospital. He has extensive experience in performing operations to give pinch and grasp to those with spinal cord injuries, as well as performing operations to address neuromuscular conditions patients with head injuries.
Dr. Heyman has eclectic interests, with a special focus on his passion for playing classical piano. Other interests include skiing, physical fitness, and Argentine tango.
