Sean Griggs, MD
Dr. Griggs is board-certified in orthopedic surgery and hand surgery. Dr. Griggs completed his medical degree from the University of Louisville in Kentucky. After medical school, he completed his orthopedic residency at Brown University in Rhode Island. Following residency, he completed a hand and micro fellowship at the University of Houston in Texas and an additional shoulder and elbow fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania.
Dr. Griggs specializes in surgical and conservative management of injuries and conditions of the shoulder, elbow and hands. This includes fracture care of the clavicle, shoulder, elbow, forearm, wrist and hand, along with trauma and chronic arthritis conditions. Dr. Griggs specializes in arthroscopic shoulder surgery for rotator cuff tears and shoulder instability. Other common conditions he treats are lateral epicondylitis, elbow arthritis and nerve compressions such as carpal tunnel and cubital tunnel. Dr. Griggs specializes in workers’ compensation patients and completed his level II accreditation with the state of Colorado.
Dr. Griggs enjoys taking his children skiing, biking and wake surfing.
