Very professional and caring doctor and nurses very happy with my surgery
I just finished up my one-week post op appointment and I felt compelled to write a review. I’m blown away each and every visit at the kindness, compassion, and friendliness of every single person I’ve encountered here. Dr. Leland has been amazing in treating my foot that I so foolishly injured, but it doesn’t end there. Every person at the front desk, every MA and nurse, and anyone else I may be forgetting, has just gone above and beyond to make me feel comfortable. I normally feel a lot of anxiety at any doctors appointments, and with surgery bringing a lot of new and scary experiences, I’m grateful to have had such a great staff taking care of me. From keeping me calm through my first IV (with a crippling phobia of needles) to keeping me laughing through the removal of my first set of stitches, I never felt unsafe or like anyone would do anything before I was comfy. Thank you to Dr. Leland and everyone else at Orthopedic Centers of Colorado!
From what I’ve seen on the reviews, other patients have experienced what I am currently experiencing. As others have said Dr Bierbrauer most definitely talks down, it happed to me on multiple times. He’s told me several times “who’s the Dr here”, when I told him I had carpal tunnel in both hands and elbow. Dr Bierbrauer then told me I didn’t have carpal tunnel. I left his office and went to the office where my nerve test results were, and immediately took them to his office. There’s more to that story!After a 3rd appointment, for this issue he walks in and said I have carpel tunnel in both hands and elbow. Why does it take 3 appointments to diagnose, I now am paying for 3 appointments because lack of attention to detail of a patient. My response was “ I told you so”, with a smile..I suffer from chronic pain and fibromyalgia, I don't get the same relief as most do from pain meds, I also have woken up during surgeries 3 times, so obviously my body doesn't respond to the meds as they do most everyone else. So I have concerns..I asked Dr Bierbrauer to prescribe a pain pill to manage my pain. He refuses and said that's Vicodin is the only one he'll prescribe. Why is it that all patients have to be treated the same as if we were sheep walking the path. We all have different issues, and as a Dr. each patient has different needs. I mean didn’t they take an oath to treat a patient for their health and well being.His assistant Jennifer is even worse! She walks around with angry scowl and is very rude. I had hand surgery 2 months ago and in my first 3 days I could not manage my pain I called the office and Jennifer was speaking to me as if I were a child and had no compassion, yelling at me asking ,well what are you doing, you must be doing something to cause more pain. I was shocked that after coming out of surgery I had to deal with all of this.Never got a call from Dr.Bierbrauer, Jennifer, or surgery center to see how I was doing after surgery.. I was a mess and could have jumped out of a window with so much pain! They didn’t seem to even care..I had made a special trip to pick up my nerve test to drop off to Dr Bierbrauer and went to hand it to Jennifer. She never turned to speak with me, she grabbed the papers from my hand and slammed the in the counter while her back to me the whole time. There was no thank you, kiss my A**, nothing! It just goes to show it comes from the top!End result, 2 out of 3 fingers on my right hand that Dr Bierbrauer did 2 months ago only resulted in one finger getting the correct result. The other two did not have a good result. My choices were to do surgery again or live with them!My conversations today with Dr Bierbrauer regarding tomorrow’s surgery was another example of his arrogances and condescending attitude that was shocking. As I was talking to Dr Bierbrauer about why he treats up all the same, he told me “why are you still talking I’m not going to change my mind”. If he had only listened he would have understood that I understood him and that I wanted an explanation on why we’re all treated the same. That was one of many insults I received from him today!There are so many more Drs out there, do your homework, I wish I had!Here’s an example: another patient of his! And there are more!I would do Zero stars if I could!!! I saw Dr.Bierbauer, he's absolutely terrible!! Don't trust him at all!! It's not worth your time!He doesn't care about you. He's so bad I fired him!! His MA is just as bad as he is.They're condescending, arrogant, nasty people. He won't listen to what you have to say, he'll blow you off, he doesn't offer any form of non opioid pain relieving meds until you can get testing or surgery scheduled so you can stay a little more comfortable. He only believes in surgery and that's it. No steroid injections either to reduce the swelling! He won't even do the surgery that you need! Don't trust him! It's not worth it! Dr. Bersbuar and his staff are the worst I have had to work with!! my elderly mom had to get carpal tunnel surgery and the first time we went in he talked down to her. He’s very arrogant and rude. The second time she went in she had over a two hour wait in the waiting room and about a half hour wait once she got back into the doctors office. They never apologized and said they were really busy. Now that her surgery is done, I can’t get anybody to let us know when her stitches need to come out! This is been an awful experience with them. Please don’t send your loved ones To see this doctor.
Really like Dr. MACTaggart. Gets straight to point and does not waste time. Office staff nice.
Dr. Anderson and the X-ray team are wonderful. Riley has also been very helpful. I don’t remember the name of the person who did my pre-op but I really didn’t feel I learned a lot or had all my questions answered. She was friendly but busy. It was interesting because both my pre-ops for my hips were very informative.
Great team of orthopedic specialists. Providers inspire confidence and office runs efficiently. I have seen Andrea and Dr Adamson for knee repacement. Both are knowledgable and friendly. They are very easy to communicate with and responsive to my concerns. So far my progress has been great…10 weeks for knee 1 and 2 weeks for knee 2.
Care team is amazing! Receptionist are so friendly and helpful! Andrea is awesome , she is so kind and friendly. Andrea always takes the time to explain procedures and what you should expect. DR. ADAMSON has the best assistant. At the hospital she popped in just to check on me. That made me feel so happy that she truly cares about her patients. Thank You Andrea for everything you do!!! DR.ADAMSON , what can I say he is always so friendly, he is quick and to the point. He is an amazing surgeon!!! 8 weeks ago he did my left total knee replacement and yesterday he did my right total knee replacement. The first surgery healed so fast and I had zero issues. I believe it is his great skills as a surgeon that you heal so fast. All I can say is DR. ADAMSON, Andrea and the entire team are wonderful and I would definitely recommend this team !!!!!
This office is just amazing. My hip replacement was and is a great success. They are professional and the facility is clean. Highly recommend.Thank you Dr. Adamson and Andrea P.A..I can play with my grandkids and live a better life.
Everyone at OCC is so very nice and helpful. Andre spent lots of time explaining my procedure on my pre-op visit. And she took extra time to answer all my questions. Monique is a sweetie!And Dr Adamson is great to work with a very talented surgeon and nice person.
It's been 10 months since my surgery with Dr. Ocel, and I'm surprised I haven't thanked him and his team sooner. Initially, he took the time to call me over the weekend after my injury, guiding me through options and reassuring me I didn't need immediate surgery. During my evaluation, his assistant efficiently organized crucial information and expedited insurance pre-authorization. Although my recovery journey continues, I'm confident I made the right choice in selecting Dr. Ocel as my surgeon.
If you are in need of a knee replacement, Orthopedic Centers of Colorado is a awesome place where they take the time to make sure you are in the best hands. Dr Eickmann and his staff are fantastic. They truly take care of business and make you feel like they are taking care of a friend
I've used OCC for everything from new knees, partial rotor cuff tear, plantar fasciitis, and more. The doctors on staff are excellent. Their PT department works hand in hand with your physician to guarantee best results possible. My experience with Dr. Ciccone has been excellent. He's a doctor that LISTENS to his patients. He's kind, friendly and very personable. His mission is to do what is best for you AND will bring about optimal results, keeping your needs and concerns in mind. Couldn't recommend a more talented and caring specialist.
Very friendly people from the front desk to the nurse assistant. Doctor was very easy to talk to and explain my problem. All was fixed in a quick and efficient manner. I will definitely recommend this office and doctor to anyone who requires ear, nose and eye treatment.
