Dr Larsen is friendly, compassionate, and professional.

Dr Larson is a great surgeon and I appreciate the work he did to restore the use of my left hand and get rid of the pain. He’s got a great rapport with his patients.

When a complication came up after surgery, Dr. Larson scheduled an appointment with me right away. He explained everything in ways I could understand and answered every question I had.

We have many clients treat with CCOE and the doctors, medical teams and service is top tier. Very thankful to have this group in the Springs. Highly recommend.

My experience from start to finish at the Colorado Center of Orthopedic Excellence has exceeded all my expectations. I needed carpal tunnel surgery and the day of my surgery I was very nervous, but everyone involved in the whole process made me feel very comfortable and at ease . All were very professional and compassionate. Dr Martyak is an excellent surgeon. I would recommend him to anyone that needed surgery. He's very friendly, kind, and caring. I am so grateful to everyone there.

A+ is not a high enough grade for this amazing team ! Mr. Larsen, the entire team before , and after the surgery made it incredibly easy to navigate and take the correct steps for a successful surgery. Sherie checked up on me and helped me with issues I had with PT. Every single person before, during , and in recovery I cannot thank you enough !!

Overall, professional and accommodating for my issue. The office environment was comfortable and staff pleasant. Dr. Martyak has a calming, yet very well qualified approach to assessing and recommending interventions for his patient's treatment(s). I strongly recommend Dr. Martyak and his staff.

The first appointment after surgery was scary for me but everyone was so kind and understanding. I was very impressed.

Dr. Martyak and team are top notch! I was in Colorado visiting from Florida and broke my hand. Dr. Martyak got me in for surgery ASAP. When the first surgery didn't take, his practice team got me in immediately for a 2nd surgery. Dr. Martyak actually walked me to various points within the clinic and gave specific instructions to the various providers (physical therapy, surgery scheduling, etc.). I am so appreciative of the care I received. Thank you!!

This was a quick follow-up to surgery and repair of my broken right ulna. The physician assistant or nurse practitioner talked with me about my X-rays and showed them to me. The doctor also visited with me.

Dr. Gregg put me together after an accident and helped me in every single way. I originally didnt have insurance and he went out of his way to show me excercises I could do. I eventually did get insurance but he helped me more than he had. To all of the office stuff are friendly and kind.

Dr. Larson is so personable and yet so professional. Even though my daughter had a serious injury at age 16, we walk out of the office so full of joy and more Knowledgeable about what her limitations are and what the road ahead looks like.

We absolutely love that occupational therapy is in the same office as our doctor appointments. It’s great continuity of care.

We drive 3 hours just to come see him and it's worth every mile. Thankyou all for everything. DO NOT HESITATE TO COME HERE! From pre surgery evaluation thru occupational therapy to the final appointment, every step was met with professionalism and expertise.

I broke both my hands, shattered my left wrist. Dr. Larsen did the surgery to repair it, it's only been 3 months and no pain and can bend, lift and do everything with no problem at all. His staff, Stephanie and Bree are also amazing. They were all so helpful in helping me to heal and making sure I was taken care of. I recommend them 💯 to anyone in need of orthopedic care! Thankyou Dr. Larsen and all of your staff.

A down to earth..very skilled/trusted surgeon..has make my fingers more functional and normal looking many times.

After the surgery to my elbows, I totally forgot that I had surgery by the 3rd day,, the incision site is also really beautiful compared to the other surgeries that I’ve had.,!! after 2 1/2 years of continuous pain the surgery was a blessing!! I’m pain free today thanks to the great skills of Dr Karl Larsen!!!! I will highly recommend him and his wonderful staff. Thank you ☺️

I saw the nurse practitioner in Dr Martyak’s practice. I was in a lot of pain with a trigger finger (thumb) and tendonitis. She was compassionate and offered me options. I ultimately chose the more difficult ones, but just 24 hours I have significant relief and a path forward. Thank you so much!

Great doctor and team.they are a wonderful group of people and drs.there.so happy I was sent here.

I had 2 previous botched experiences with my local orthopedic providers that, thankfully, Dr. Larsen was able to clean up & fix. So, when I recently fell & broke my wrist, I knew that I would go straight to Dr. Larsen instead of wasting time & money with local ortho providers. It's a 3 hour drive (one way) but so worth it! Dr. Larsen explained the needed procedure & surgery was quickly scheduled/performed. I'm 2 weeks post-op & could not be happier with the results. He is knowledgeable, personable, & so easy to work with. He is willing to work with local PT/OT, which saves me a lot of driving. His PA, Stephanie, is awesome too!
My family jokes that I have Dr. Larsen on speed dial. Nothing personal, but I hope I won't be needing his services again anytime soon. 😁

I can't say enough about The Center of Orthopedic Excellence, except that excellence is an understatement! I was reminded of this yesterday after seeing P.A. Miyoko Green. I was suffering from a broken ankle with a gout flare at the same time. The pain was excruciating. I have been treated for gout many times over the years by many different Doctors. Her treatment was better than all of them. Today, thanks to her, I am pain free. I also want to thank Dr. Ky Kobayashi. Many years ago, I had a serious wrist problem that made it too painful to even address an envelope. He has me fixed so good that I can now swing a sledgehammer with ease. (don't tell him I do that though) What a great team at Colorado Center of Orthopedic Excellence. They are the best of the best and they really care. Perhaps that is why they are so good. They care!

Dr. Martyak was my surgeon for my left middle finger and wrist in 2021. The surgery and healing went very well. Dr. Martyak has a peaceful demeanor and I always feel comfortable with him. I received cortisone shots last year for my left thumb and right middle finger. I returned on the 20th of August of this year, for another round of cortisone shots in the repeated areas. We briefly talked about surgery for the right hand if I need to come in sooner for repeated shots or the pain doesn’t improve. I will consider this next year, since I had two surgeries this year and I will definitely have Dr. Martyak as my surgeon again. I trust him and his staff and knowing I will receive excellent care! I can use other hand specialist closer to Castle Rock, but I insist on returning to Dr. Martyak every time. He is a GREAT surgeon.

Surgery was a total success. Doctor Larsen is awesome. He is a very professional hand surgeon and a caring individual. Highly recommend him and the overall surgical center staff.
