Cary R. Motz, MD, is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon through the American Board of Orthopedic Surgeons. Dr. Motz specializes in knee and shoulder arthroscopy and reconstruction along with sports medicine at Advanced Orthopedic & Sports Medicine Specialists in Denver and Parker, Colorado.

Dr. Motz received his undergraduate degree and completed his orthopedic residency at the University of Oklahoma. He received his medical degree from St. Louis University School of Medicine. Dr. Motz completed the San Diego Sports Medicine Arthroscopy Fellowship, focusing on advanced techniques in knee and shoulder arthroscopy. In addition, he is board-certified in Sports Medicine.

Dr. Motz believes that good communication with his patients is the key to a successful treatment outcome. He is currently the team physician for Rock Canyon High School and previously served as the Medical Director for the Colorado Storm Soccer Club. His hobbies include playing golf and skiing.

Dr. Motz was great. He has a calm and comfortable demeanor and listened to health concerns/issues. He gave me a choice of treatment plans and we reached a consensus on next steps. Very pleased overall with visit.

The Dr evaluation and treatment was great but the wait after being lead back to the examination room seemed excessive. I would of rather continued waiting in the waiting area if they were running behind schedule

Beginning with my first exam all the way through surgery Dr. Motz and Staff we're very attentive to my needs, everything was explained thoroughly. There were quite a few people involved at the surgery center and every single one of them were very caring and constantly made sure I was okay and ready to provide anything that I needed. I was very relaxed and felt like I was in very good hands through the whole experience. I have a work associate who actually had an experience with Dr. Motz many years before and gave him great praise. I give Dr. Motz and his crew a big thumbs up and grateful thank you.

Had my first surgery ever, with Dr. Motz on my knee. I had best experience. Every thing went smoothly. My knee feels great. Dr. Motz and his staff made feel comfortable though out the whole process with my surgery. I highly recommend Dr Motz.
