Dr Lao is a first class Dr and gentleman. I finally got some answers to my needs. He went over x-rays and explained to me his thoughts for me.I will address those first and diffently will go back for my hip needs. Thanks again!!!!
I have visited OCC sites three times in the last month. I had no previous experience with them. . Each of my experiences have been excellent both in the quality of care I received and in the friendliness and efficiency the clinic personnel brought to what can be a frightening situation. I heartily recommend OCC and am grateful for the outstanding treatment I received. 5 stars!
Total hip replacement. My experience was excellent! From initial meeting to completion. Wanda and Lexi offered immediate responses to any questions scheduling or needs. Dr. Lao explained the process and his personal history of joint replacement giving me confidence in his ability to give excellent results. Even getting wheeled into the OR room was comforting. The surgical team and Dr. Rip the (anesthesiologist)were all enthusiastic and excited to be there.This was my first major surgery and I had a little anxiety beforehand but the team made me very comfortable. Dr. Lao will be replacing my knee this fall after golf season. Would highly recommend him as your doctor. I would give him 6 Stars if possible!
For the last 2 and a half years I have been pleading with doctors to help me. I went through hell after a failed back surgery. I lost my job, my insurance, and quite a lot of sanity. I've been treated as a liar, someone trying to defraud the government, or a drug addict looking for pills. I went to the E.R. on multiple occasions only to be told to stop coming in. I was done. I was absolutely sick of everyone and everything. And then I met Dr. Lao.Dr. Lao treated me with respect, compassion, trust, and honesty. He had me diagnosed and scheduled for hip surgery within about 20 minutes. I liked him, but after that failed back surgery, I didn't feel good about trying it again. But the pain was too much and I'd had enough.And Dr. Lao was right! One hip has been replaced and the difference is staggering. I don't know how many times I've broke down crying, thankful to be alive again. Zombies do exist. It's true that we turn into them. But people like Dr. Lao are bringing us back to life. One hip at a time.Thank you to everyone involved in my surgery and post care. You saved my life.
Professional and skilled. I had to have a revision of an earlier surgery and I didn't even bruise this time around. My recovery was so much easier and I feel amazing. The facility is clean and well run. On the day of the surgery everything went extremely smoothly and everyone was so friendly and knowledgeable. This is the best experience I have ever had. I would recommend to anyone.
