Sanjay Jatana, MD

As a fellowship-trained spine surgeon, Dr. Jatana specializes in treatment of complex disorders of the cervical spine (neck). He has special training in the cervical spine and treats many patients who require repeat or revision surgery. Dr. Jatana is one of the few spine surgeons in the Colorado region to specialize only in cervical spine surgery, and is trained in many of the artificial disc options for neck surgery, including Mobi-C and Prodisc-C. After surgery, Dr. Jatana prefers to follow his patients for at least two years to ensure long-term positive results. Dr. Jatana and his qualified staff evaluate neck issues, and discuss expectations with their patients. It is their goal to answer all questions and ensure their patients have a good understanding of their condition so they can choose treatment options that make the most sense for them. Dr. Jatana holds two US patents, one for a patient safety device he developed to aid in the tracking and recovery of all surgical sponges, and another for a sterile apparatus he designed for covering a surgical tray upon which surgical instruments may be placed.
