Dr. Blake Hines grew up in the Midwest and obtained his Bachelor of Science Degree in Cell and Molecular Biology from Missouri State University. He went on to medical school at Des Moines University in Des Moines, IA. During this time, he completed rotations around the country and worked with some of the country’s top podiatrists. Following graduation, he obtained extensive clinical and surgical training while completing the three-year foot and ankle surgical residency program at Truman Medical Center in Kansas City, Missouri. Dr. Hines was then selected as the Trauma Surgery Fellow at Broadlawns Medical Center in Des Moines, IA. There he was trained in advanced surgical techniques for the foot and ankle. Following his training, Dr. Hines moved to Colorado to practice. He ran a successful private practice in the North Denver area, until joining Cornerstone Orthopaedics. He is board certified through the American Board of Podiatric Medicine and is on staff at several hospitals in the Denver Metro.

In his free time, you can find Dr. Hines hiking with his girlfriend and dog, or fly fishing and hunting his way across the front range.
