Kris Burana, MD

Anesthesiologists

Dr. Burana serves as Medical Director at 3 SCA facilities in Denver, CO (Cherry Creek Surgery Center, DTC Surgery Center, Mile High Surgery Center and OCC Surgery Center at Inverness upon its opening). He is the former Chair of Perioperative Services at The Medical Center of Aurora and has practiced anesthesia in Colorado since 2006.

Dr. Burana completed his anesthesia residency at Northwestern University-The Feinberg School of Medicine. He earned his Doctorate of Medicine at the University of Tennessee College of Medicine and his bachelor’s degree from Vanderbilt University.
