Born and raised in Denver, Dr. John Papilion was determined to return to Colorado to practice after studying medicine in Ohio and Virginia. During his time at Christ Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio, Dr. Papilion had the opportunity to care for the Cincinnati Bengals professional football and Cincinnati Reds professional baseball teams and ultimately became fascinated by complex knee and shoulder problems including minimally invasive knee and shoulder replacement. He has special training and expertise in state-of-the-art reconstructive surgeries and he performs traditional open and arthroscopic surgery. He has a special interest and extensive experience in regenerative medicine with non-surgical treatment of osteoarthritis including PRP, Lipogems micronized fat cell transfer and XoFlo Exosome injection therapy.
