Joel specializes in treating high school, collegiate, professional, and Olympic athletes with specific interest in the orthopedic needs of performing artists. He has worked with nationally and internationally touring theater productions, and that experience carries forward to treating competitive figure skaters in the Colorado Springs Olympic community. Orthopedic patients, both surgical and non surgical, are provided complete care from evaluation to discharge. Joel collaborates with sports performance staff to transition athletes from rehabilitation to sport specific training. He has provided sports medicine coverage for the Rocky Mountain State Games since 2006.
